Somehow in the utter excitement over finishing my first draft of Chosen, I forgot to post about it here.
I finished my first draft of Chosen!!!
Okay, that's out of the way. But before I move on from the finishing part, let me tell you-- it was exciting!!! Everyone on Twitter knew I was finishing Tuesday, March 2 because I pretty much announced it to everyone who would listen, and even those who wouldn't. But many people did listen. I had a cheering section of people waiting to hear I had written THE END. It was so exciting and much less lonely than the first time I wrote THE END three months earlier with my NaNo book. I felt incredibly blessed to have so many people care for me and want to share my excitement.
Half way through writing my book, I followed a link to @ReganWrites blog to see her just completed book trailer. Go to her blog Regan Leigh to see the amazing book trailer she made for her book Mallory's Story. I must have watched her book trailer ten times... or more. (stalker) I coveted her book trailer. So I told myself that when I finished the first draft of Chosen, I too could get a book trailer. Which basically meant I could spend hours and countless hours working on a book trailer. And I did, spend countless and countless hours. But it was worth every minute because I love how my book trailer turned out.
What? You want to see it?
In my next post I will go through the process I went through and tell you the various sources I used to create it.
